Permanent Make-Up is wonderful on eyebrows that are naturally uneven, too thin, sparse or non-existent. Eyebrows can be beautifully enhanced and can accentuate your natural hair line.
We can re-define and structure your looks to suit your personal preference.
Permanent Make-Up on eyebrows is great for men and women.
Permanent Make-Up defines and accentuates your eyes. It can make your lashes appear thicker and denser. Permanent eyeliner can be applied to your upper or lower lid individually or at the same time, according to your personal preference.
The shape and colour can be pre-determined by you and reflects your personal choice. You will be guided by me every step of the way for the best colour and shape for your appearance, so that together we can achieve the best result for you.
Permanent lip liner not only adds fullness and can correct unevenness in the lips, it can also minimise the appearance of wrinkles on your lips and helps prevent lipstick from bleeding. Subtle, natural shades are recommended to enhance the natural shape of your lips.
All permanent make-up procedures are multi-appointment procedures. You are required to come back for your second procedure before it can be determined that your treatment is complete. This can be anything from three weeks to three months.
Permanent make-up is not an exact science, but a combination of science and art and an adjustment of colour or shape may be required.
When your procedure is complete the colour will be very dark and intense. It will take 3-5 days for this colour to settle and heal into the skin, allowing the soft and natural colour to emerge.
•Lip application will appear extremely dark and then flake to almost invisibility in some cases. Allow at least 3 weeks to determine the amount of colour retained. Due to the mucous membrane the colour will almost always have a subtle end result. Extremely dark and defined colours are very difficult to achieve.
•The treated area can become inflamed and reddened, so it is advisable not to make any social engagements for a couple of days following the treatment.
•On the day of your procedure, please wear normal make-up and bring along your regular eye, brow and lip pencils for colour matching.
•Any form of hair removal, bleaching or tinting should be performed at least 48 hours pre procedure and at least 2 weeks post procedure.
•Please do not wear your contact lenses during or after the procedure and until swelling has completely subsided. Remember to bring your glasses.
If you have a history of cold sores or fever blisters, we recommend a visit to your GP prior to lip procedures for prescribed oral medication. Failure to do so may result in a herpes simplex break out and destroy your permanent cosmetics.
Sensitivity to the application is greatly increased if the client is pre-menstrual.
Please refrain from the use of alcohol, blood thinning medication e.g. Aspirin, Arnica, Pain medication, Anti-inflammatories, Diuretics or recreational drugs 24 hours before the procedure. If you have taken any of the aforementioned meds, please let us know before the procedure, it does not necessarily mean that we cannot go ahead.
We use a variety of topical anaesthetics to substantially reduce discomfort.
Important: No prescribed medication should be discontinued without permission from your doctor. If you are not sure if your medication will affect the procedure, contact Xentrix before the day.
A patch test is available free of charge, upon request, 24 hours prior to the procedure.
Due to strict hygiene regulations, we discourage clients from bringing along friends to sit in on procedures. If you feel this is necessary, it must be pre-arranged with Kim directly and they should be prepared to wear the relevant protective gear. Friends, however, are more than welcome to wait for you in the waiting room.
Proper care following your procedure is necessary to achieve the best results. Keep in mind that in many cases, some unevenness of colour is to be expected after the first application. This is the purpose of the follow up visit.
Please review the following directions and refer to them as necessary. If during your healing process you have any questions or concerns, please contact your permanent make-up artist.
Permanent Lip Liner and Full Lip Colour
•No lotions, creams or water on the treated area for at least 12 hours after the procedure.
•After a lip procedure, avoid spicy foods or heat. After the 12 hours, apply a small amount of lubricant to the area (Laser gel, Polisporin or Zambuk).
•If fever blisters occur, call your technician or contact your pharmacist.
•Wash your hands before touching any treated area. Do not expose the area to any dirty or unsanitary conditions. •Some itching or sensitivity is normal. Do not pick, peel or scratch the treated area, or your colour will heal unevenly and you will risk scarring and infection.
• For one week following your procedure, do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning beds, steam rooms, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, direct shower spray, hot water, skin creams, ointments or lotions other than what you have been instructed to use. Once you have completed your Touch-Up visit, you may require further adjustments. As we are dealing with the skin and each individual’s skin will react differently, we can never be 100% sure that the treatment will be perfect after the suggested number of treatment.
It is perfectly safe, when this criterion is met. Besides experience, all procedures must be performed in a sterile environment.
Always make sure of your Specialists credentials. There is intensive training involved and many requirements need to be met in order for a practitioner to perform any form of micro pigmentation.
All our needles, pigment caps, gloves etc are opened and used only once for each procedure. Machine parts are sterilized and kept sanitary as a mandatory practice. Personal protective wear is administered at all times to prevent cross contamination.
Absolutely! Eyebrows and lips are drawn on with a surgical marker until you are satisfied with your personal shape preference. You will be assisted and advised every step of the way. We have over 20 colour variations to choose from to accommodate each individual’s desire.

Each procedure varies, and it depends on if you have one or multiple procedures. It generally takes one hour, this includes 30 minutes for anesthetic cream to numb the area.
Contact lenses can be worn as it minimizes the burn of the numbing agent.
